School Hours

The children are invited into the school building at 8.40am to take part in a daily greeting activity; this can range from 'Wake and Shake' to a mathematical challenge. The registers are taken at 8.55am.

Children may have a school meal or bring a packed lunch. Our school meals are prepared in accordance with healthy eating guidelines and we ask that any packed lunch you provide does the same. Please also be aware that we are a "Nut Free School". There are two breaks of 15 minutes taken each morning, one for KS1 and one for KS2. 
We are unable to accept responsibility for children on the school premises before 8.40 am or after 3.10 pm, unless permission has been obtained from the Headteacher or Class Teacher. We will, of course, look after children in the case of an emergency.

Ripley Pre-School runs a Morning Club from 8am to 8.40am and an After School Club from 3pm to 5pm for school pupils. A Registration Form must be completed for each child and places in both clubs must be booked in advance directly with the Pre-School Manager.
