The
Box Office is kindly under the management of the trusty
Wills and Smerdon for the second year running. Our special
Village proves once again that our success lies in the very
close community relationships we maintain.
This year's
traditional rendition of Aladdin has a few changes of characters
with one of our teachers, James Schofield, as the Genie
playing not the 'Keeper of the Lamp' but the 'Cooper of
the Lamp'. Yes thats right, "just like that!".
There is a fair smattering of topical gags as well as the
traditional feel of pantomime, including slapstick performed
by parents Matt Jelly as Widow Twankey and Mike
Wood as Wishee Washee along with teacher Becky
Gilfillan as Aladdin. There is also plenty of
pantomime style innuendo and tomfoolery to enjoy, so come
along and let us entertain you!
The performance
times are:
Wednesday 24th March
at 7.30pm.
Thursday 25th March at 7.30pm.
Friday 26th March at 7.30pm.
Saturday 27th March at 2pm and 7pm.
We look
forward to seeing you all in March from the parents, staff
and children of Ripley Primary School and Wills and Smerdon.
