Help raise £80,000 to transform our school into the first self-funded 4-11 school in Surrey

ripley school missing campaign

I write on behalf of all staff, parents and supporters of Ripley Church of England Primary School, for your help in self-funding the re-organisation of our school into a 4-11 primary school.

We are a small village school providing education for 72 children aged four to seven and we are proud to play a key part in community and local church activities.

As such, local families of various backgrounds are very keen for all their children to be in our school up until the age of eleven. This will contribute to a stable family community and help the local environment with less school journeys and more activity centred in the village.

After serving the local community for more than a century and spurred on by the dedication of the staff in securing a great Ofsted report, we have received good support from our local council and believe now is the right time to apply for the conversion.

SATS for 2006/07 results - Ripley C of E Infant School came in the top 5% in the country. 100% of the children reached L2+ (which is higher than the average)

At present there is no government money available for capital developments of this sort either through the County Council or the Church so we have to do this ourselves. We require £340,000 to build the extra classrooms of which we have already raised £260,000 and seek pledges for the remaining £80,000 from all areas of the community by the end of this year.

The whole school community is very committed to this project and is working hard to raise the funds through various activities of which you will soon hear more of through the local press. For more details on how to go give a donation see our info page
